Thanks for all the great feedback on last week’s Blueprint for Saving Democracy. Over at The Pushback, I’ve found it remarkably useful for organizing my posts. If you haven’t already, I hope you’ll come check it out.
It finally happened. I finished a project. Not only did I finish the donkey, now named Magnin, but I turned him into a pillow. Behold.

See? I tell myself, It is possible to finish things. Kudos for the snail process.
In that vein, I will be taking myself to the Northern California Writers Retreat to do some snail work on my manuscript for The Last Departure, my novel-in-progress. I hope I don’t get slime all over it.
Other than Magnin and his pillow, I haven’t finished much else this week due to a series of family situations that required my attention as well as dumb old work. I did see Black Bag, though. It’s very very good, lots of fun, and only 90 minutes long! Brilliant! It should win an Oscar for the length alone. Go see it.
Let me know if there are any other good short movies I should see and have a great week.
Magnin rocks!
See you soon!! Bravo on finishing lovely Magnin!
